Peer-Based Social Blocks
Our Peer-Based Social Blocks primarily focus on social reciprocity and social communication with a matched peer. They address client specific goals in the domains of joint attention, flexible thinking, problem solving, and experience sharing.
Typical Peer-Based Social Blocks are structured in a dyad format, matching our clients with a peer partner based on multiple factors such as age, level of support needed, and interests in order to optimize the potential for friendship to develop.
Our Peer-Based Social Blocks may be one hour in length or may be combined with speech and language therapy and/or social work blocks.
