About Sweeney, Augustin & Associates

Therapy at SAA is relationship based and dynamic to meet the complex needs of our children, teens and adults with social, communication, and behavioral challenges. We offer individual, dyad, and group therapy. We seek to remediate the core areas of need so that our clients can feel competent not only in their therapy sessions but also in their relationships with family and friends. We continuously strive to create dynamic learning opportunities to help clients navigate the opportunities and challenges they are presented with each day.

Our clients present with medical diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, anoxic brain injury, cleft lip and palate, hypotonia, and chromosomal disorders. Specific speech and language disorders addressed in our clinic include Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Specific Language Impairment, social language disorders, and developmental articulation and language delays. We also address auditory processing issues, attention delays, and feeding disorders. Specific social work challenges addressed include anxiety disorders, ADHD, challenges with flexibility/rigidity, and difficulty with social engagement.
